Beata Antonious - Profile
Beata Antonious has always been interested and worked in the healthcare field.  Her previous education includes studies in health sciences, and gerontology.  In 2009, she graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and ever since, has worked in many healthcare settings assisting every client along to better health.

Due to the prevalence of cancer and many of her clients battling the illness, she decided to educate herself more thoroughly in cancer related matters.  This led her to further her education and skills at the oldest and most reputable school, Dr. Vodder School International, which specializes in the training of Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy.

Beata Antonious is one of approximately 100 therapists in Ontario who has completed the 160 hour certification on a very precise technique, redirecting lymphatic fluids in the body from damaged, congested sites to working ones.  She practices the original Dr. Vodder method of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) to treat lymphedema and many other conditions where swelling/edema is a concern.  The Dr. Vodder method of Manual Lymph Drainage is widely recognized by all of the Canadian Lymphedema Associations and major cancer hospitals worldwide, specifically Europe.

Other than working primarily with cancer and lymphedema clients, Beata applies her Manual Lymph Drainage training to aid in the process of healing and rapid reduction in swelling to individuals who are undergoing or have undergone surgery, especially plastic surgery and sport related surgeries.

Beata Antonious is a registered massage therapist and is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.  She is also a member of the Lymphedema Association of Ontario.
